Hawk red, white, same hawk, crows, kingbird

I had a deep psychic vibe that it was one of those moments the skies seem empty and I don’t have my camera out and a hawk battles hurtles right overhead so I got out the camera and was all agit up cutting through the salvage lot, sure enough, a rare double up, a little kingbird is chasing a big red hawk, and the hawk gets far enough off the kingbird departs and the hawk goes into its lazy restful big wing glide when two passing crows notice it and tear in after it. At one point it really did seem like it looked down at me, disconsolate with being photographed on top of it all. Hawks are very mammal like, and their lives are tough.

Odd photographing the exact same hawk 4 times a dozen seconds apart and it’s underside is sometimes savoury red other times bright snowy white. Change of season, not hawk.

The groundhog’s main hole is all fresh mound dug up.

Don’t expect to see much of that coyote in our area here on, and maybe an all new casts of feral cats? Cats who say “These right wing brats aren’t entitled to take away all our rights,
