The Grosbeak Crossbill Controversey

I arrived earlier to work than some days, and there was more light

These two, facing away, you cannot see their beak/bill

There's at least three in this photo

They're far more camouflaged then you'd guess, but their beaks/bills do not look large

the males are red and easily mistaken for finches


One thinks of the distance they have come, and thinks of infinite travel itself.
