the fluff bird, the woodland fluff

Filed under: Uncategorized — oversion @ 2:56 am

it calms the mind to be amazed by a tiny little bird like that, and to relate to it

it's maybe funny that with a loving photography mindset splashing water towards birds looks so gauche, almost crass! as opposed to hunting for instance, and the ducks didn't mind, splashes never got near them. still,

The cutest birds filled the area around work today, all the way to lunch and back and all down past russian salvage to the bus stop, and all day in our immediate neighbours row of high hedge. They all shared a common song of just two notes, almost identical, in the cuckoo clock genre. Tiny fluff birds. Outrageously cute.

They looked so like toy birds I laughed, and such a simple song, which they even tooted flying over dufferin later, into the woods. Not accustomed to people! When I’d walk up to the tree they were in, not even that high up, they’d stop singing for a bit, but not zap away, once used to my presence they’d resume singing, even when I tousled the fence.
