amusing the way people keep returning to this yellow alien bird post
from the summer during the garbage strike in windsor.
ive seen a lot of cedar waxwings since then, here in toronto,
having come to recognize their cheap, and the luck of their
making daily use of fir trees behind work. looking back now,
the startling bird above, is it a cedar waxwing? it really does look alien
a fine fine bird.

Great family pics, good lighting. Right now the Canada-Latvia Jr Hockey game is on, which Dick thinks is a big deal for Canadians. The Habs-Leafs game is on at 7. Hope you’re going to get to watch that one. Thank goodness the dratted day is over. There is still turkey. I always use your pictures as a goal. If I can produce some half as good, as warm and compelling, as storytelling, then I’ll be happy. I hardly EVER take pictures of people, especially family, when I thought that’s what I’d do the most. Thank goodness we were able to dodge the snow-bullets, landing on Mercury in plenty of time to treat the city of Ottowa to your soLicious style and flair of spoken word.

Such a treat I have never been privy to previously.
